I’m Ozkan Gelincik, a machine-learning data scientist with 10+ years in oncology research and operations leadership. I build end-to-end analytics workflows in Python and SQL, from data ingestion and feature engineering to modeling, evaluation, and dashboards. Currently, I’m completing NYC Data Science Academy’s full-time Data Science with Machine Learning bootcamp capstone in healthcare payer analytics.

I led $3M+ research operations and managed 5–10 staff across multiple NCI-funded programs at Weill Cornell Medicine, supporting clinical and preclinical studies in oncology and immunology.

  • Managed multi-study execution, timelines, and lab infrastructure to improve reliability and throughput
  • Produced statistical summaries and decision briefs supporting publications and reporting
  • Deep wet-lab and translational context (organoids, immunology assays, NGS workflows)

Consulting and scientific communication

I work as an independent biotech consultant and writer. I’ve delivered 50+ client projects translating clinical and scientific inputs into decision-ready analyses, tables, and executive summaries to industry clients including Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, and Teknova. I translate clinical and research questions into decision-ready analyses, literature syntheses, and stakeholder-facing narratives.
